A complimentary ticket is available for you as the organiser to use in advance of your visit to familiarise yourself with The Dockyard.

A firm favourite with groups! Our knowledgeable guide will take your group around The Dockyard either on foot or boarding your own coach, allowing you to discover its maritime history through its buildings, architecture, ships and people.
Coach Tour £50.00, Walking Tour £60.00 (25 people per guide)
Met by a costumed Midwife, groups visit areas which have been used as locations for many of the scenes of the popular TV series. Combine this tour with an exclusive chance to have afternoon tea in Commissioner’s House which was also used as a 1950’s style restaurant in an episode from series two.

We have a selection of different catering packages exclusively for groups. To ensure that you choose the menu that is best suited please talk to us about your requirements.
As part of the Command of the Oceans project our brand new Café opens on the 27th May 2016! It will offer a great selection of tempting meals, snacks and hot and cold drinks. Groups can lunch independently or reserve spaces by pre-ordering lunches in advance.
Pre-book one of our private rooms in the house and choose from a selection of menus for your whole group to enjoy. The Commissioner’s House is subject to availability so please ask in advance for private dining options.
Experience classic fish and chips in a unique location. On board our Second World War Destroyer HMS Cavalier collect your food from the galley and then make your way to one of the ship’s original mess decks! Alternatively dine exclusively in the Captain’s Cabin on board the Victorian Sloop HMS Gannet. Either location is a truly unique experience.
Enjoy a ‘workshop lunch’ alongside our locos. Choose from hearty ‘doorstep’ sandwiches and hot Kentish pies, plus hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice-creams. Your group are able to enjoy their takeaway snacks inside or outside the Railway Workshop or in one of the picnic areas available across the site.
