|Are dogs allowed on site?||Yes they are but they must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in any of the galleries.
If you are planning on bringing any other animals on site, please contact us in advance.
|Do you do disabled tickets?||
Disabled visitors enter at normal price (of age of ticket) and a carer free of charge. Carers will need to show a form of ID upon arrival. *This is for 1 carer only.

|Is the site accessible for wheelchair users?||Yes, we have made the site wheelchair friendly but please lookout for the railway tracks to ensure wheels do not get stuck. If you need a wheelchair please contact us on – 01634 823800 – and we can book one for your visit.

|Does my annual ticket include entry to the Festival of Steam & Transport or Salute to the ’40s||No – these events are separately ticketed. If you are an annual ticket holder, please upgrade your ticket with our Front of House staff on: 01634 823826 or in-person|
|Can I bring a barbeque?||All barbeques (disposable and non-disposable) are not permitted anywhere within the Historic Dockyard Chatham site.|
|Can I bring my drone?||To ensure the safety of visitors present on the site and the privacy of our visitors, tenants and residents, we do not allow the use of unauthorised remote control aerial cameras, planes or helicopters..|
|How long does it take to visit the whole site||We are 80 acres – so we understand that you simply can’t see everything in 1 visit! This is why our tickets are annual tickets and are valid for 12 months. This allows you to come back again and again!
To full enjoy a day we suggest a visit of 4-5 hours.
|Can I just buy a day ticket?||We do not offer day tickets as although our tickets are valid for 12 months – they are great value even for 1 day!|
|What activities do you have on site?||Throughout the year we offer a variety of activities for children as well as out temporary exhibition programme. To keep up to date visit out What’s on page for dates.|
|What do I do if I have lost my ticket?||Don’t worry – all your details will be on our system! Simply pick up a new ticket upon arrival after giving your details to a member of team.|
