International Women’s Day at The Historic Dockyard Chatham

International Women's Day

Taking place in The Commissioner’s House and Gardens

Join us for a day to celebrate and support Women across the globe.  Set in the beautiful surroundings of Commissioner’s House and Gardens there will be activities and workshops all day.  The day will end with a group meditation in the Gardens, sending out well wishes to all worldwide.

Activities and Workshops will include the following:

Yoga, Meditation, Dancing, Talks on Empowerment/Confidence/Mental Health, Drumming, Sound Baths, Healing, Arts and Crafts, Indian head Massage, Henna, Relaxation Therapies and Tai Chi.

Organisations and Individuals involved and talks: Medway Ethnic Minority Forum; Andria Birdman – Confidence Couch; Soroptomist Worldwide Women’s Organisation – Human Trafficking in Medway;Sam Rapp – The Dyslexic Poet, Sunlight Development Trust – Medway Men In Sheds & Cruse Bereavement Care.

Tickets will be £7 in advance online and £10 on the day

*Please note tickets do not include access to galleries and attractions. Tickets do include yoga/tai chi/talks and sound baths. There will be small additional charges for some of the therapies and the food and drink.
