Mythical Trail

Discover our Mythical Trail on-site to explore our wonderful collections that often go UN- noticed to visitors! Create your own monster with our clues too! Once the monster drawing has been completed, children can claim their surprise in our lucky dip!


Craft station

In No.1 Smithery, there will be a craft station for children to let their imaginations take hold! Come and see what you can make with characters from the sea.


Story telling

Storytelling will be taking place in 3 Slip, hear a mythical tale of the Kraken. Times to be confirmed for story telling.


Let's Eat!

This half term, Monster lunchboxes will be available at our 2 food outlets: The Mess Deck and Wagon Stop. Choose from a variety of sandwiches, a drink and snacks to go inside the monster lunchbox! This comes with a FREE Monsters Activity Book!

The Historic Dockyard is an 80 acre site with over 100 historic buildings and structures and three historic warships where every effort has been made to ensure maximum accessibility for all our visitors.

Please take care on site with wheelchairs and pram wheels with our railway tracks.

Enjoy a variety of delicious meals at our 2 fantastic food outlets – the Mess Deck & the Wagon Stop. Throughout the grounds we have fully accessible toilets for wheelchair users, from the main entrance right across to the Victorian Ropery. Baby changing facilities are also placed across site for your journey around the Historic Dockyard.
