What you need to know...

The small print!

  • All tickets are valid for 12 months – pay once, and visit all year round!
  • Save today and purchase your ticket online – up to £2 a ticket!
  • All tickets bought online will be emailed with a reference number. Please bring this with you (either printed or on a smartphone) when you visit.
  • As part of the process to buy tickets, we will ask you for you name and address. This is to allow Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust to claim Gift Aid on your ticket (if applicable). Your information is only used for this purpose and will not be passed onto any third parties.
  • What is Gift Aid? Gift Aid allows charities like us to reclaim tax (25p for every £1) from the government on your donations. If you are a UK taxpayer, by opting to Gift Aid you enable us treat your payment as a donation, so each £1 you spend can do £1.25 of good.
  • Please note, that your photo will be taken upon arrival to link to your ticket. This is for security reasons, and allows us to ensure that tickets are with the right person.
  • General tickets to The Dockyard include our 2 guided tours – The Ropery and Submarine HM Ocelot – please book a time slot upon arrival.
