Dockyard After Dark: Ghost Tour
Selected dates from 9 Oct to 22 Nov 2025

SOLD OUT
Step into the shadows of the Historic Dockyard on a torch-lit ghost tour that takes you beyond the everyday visitor experience. These after-dark tours uncover eerie tales and chilling truths from the Dockyard’s past.
Hear true accounts of historic deaths alongside spine-tingling stories told by Dockyard workers through the years. Hear about the mischievous Bobbin Boys said to play tricks on today’s Ropemakers, spectral horses whose hoofbeats echo long after they’re gone, and the ghostly women of the Spinning Rooms. Are they still weaving their stories even though the machines have long fallen silent?
Your journey will pause inside the Tarred Yarn Store, where a warm drink will be waiting, before continuing through atmospheric corners of the Dockyard.
