Kent Autistic Trust Exhibition – Transport: Past, Present & Future
31 Aug - 12 Sep 2024

During our 40th anniversary year, we invite you to explore an exciting exhibition showcasing the creativity of autistic artists supported by Kent Autistic Trust. Inspired by the various modes of transport found around the Dockyard site, this year’s exhibit highlights the unique perspectives and artistic talents of our artists, as they bring the theme of transport to life through their work.
The Kent Autistic Trust (KAT), established in 1989, has grown from its modest beginnings with a six-bedded living service and a day vocational centre in Medway. Today, it serves over 100 individuals across Medway and Kent, providing residential, supported living accommodation, and vocational services for autistic adults.
Celebrating over a decade of creativity, our annual art exhibition showcases the fantastic displays that have emerged over the years. This year, the theme of transport has inspired the artists to put in countless hours of hard work, resulting in impressive pieces that you can experience during the exhibition.
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the artwork on display, with all proceeds supporting the ongoing work of the Kent Autistic Trust’s vital services.
