October Half Term Relaxed Opening
24 Oct 2023

Join us for a relaxed opening afternoon at the Historic Dockyard this October half term. This session has been designed for visitors with autism, learning disabilities or sensory and communication needs, along with their siblings, families and carers.
You will have access to the whole museum between 3pm and 5pm and have the opportunity to take part in:
- Here Be Dragons – storytelling with Captain Axel
- Get Crafty – Halloween themed craft activity
The afternoon will have fewer visitors across the Dockyard and a quieter atmosphere.
This afternoon is perfect for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment.
The session is free to attend but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
Please be aware the Here be Dragons storytelling is 30 minutes long but there is ample space for you to come and go should you need to.
