On Sunday 3rd September 2023, the Historic Dockyard will become an Italian petrol heads playground when we play host to Southern Alfa Day (SAD 2023).
Organised by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club Kent & East Sussex, the Dockyard will be filled with the sights and sounds of hundreds of these stunning cars as they share the space alongside our own 400-year history.
From the rare, classic exotica of days gone by to the very latest environmentally friendly models, come along to see the cars and meet the ‘Alfisti’ and their Alfa Romeo’s that continue to win hearts. Marvel at the descendants of the Alfa Romeo’s ‘Sea Horses’ and see the historics of the future alongside the historics of the past where British Naval Firepower meets classic Italian horsepower for a day you won’t forget.
An Alfa Romeo Owners Club member who visited The Dockyard recently reported – ”Having attended events at The Historic Dockyard Chatham on several occasions I can say that it is at an excellent location with easy access, plenty of parking and a variety of attractions and here all included in the ticket price. Whether your interest is in Alfa Romeo, naval history, associated naval craft and industry there will be something to ensure a great day out for all the family.”
