Wreath Workshop & Afternoon Tea
10 Dec 2025

Join the Master Ropemakers for a fun, creative and delicious afternoon. Choose your colour scheme and bring your imagination as our expert team guide you in making your own unique festive wreath to hang proudly on your door. The base of your Christmas wreath is formed from rope made by our craftsmen and women here on our historic ropewalk, using the same techniques used for producing the finest ropes for the Royal Navy, including Nelson’s VICTORY.
Kick start your afternoon with a glass of mulled wine, tea or coffee, then take your place at the crafting tables where you’ll learn the techniques from the Master Ropemakers. All decorations are provided including foliage, ribbons and festive accessories.
Once complete, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your delicious festive afternoon tea whilst admiring your handy work.
