A Bridgerton Wedding at The Commissioner’s House

With the first installment of Bridgerton season 4 airing on Netflix today we know that a Bridgerton style wedding will be at the forefront of every couple’s mind. Its regency influences are certainly starting to top lists of 2026 wedding trends – including our own. We can’t wait to see what our happy couples-to-be will be inspired by in this latest season. Our Georgian venue, The Commissioner’s House and Gardens is an authentic backdrop to your Bridgerton Ball, but if you’re stuck on the rest just read on for our guide to putting together an elegant regency inspired soiree.
colours
The Bridgerton colour palette is made for weddings, with blush pinks and apricots, Bridgerton cornflower blue and the famous wisteria lilac all classic picks for a wedding. If muted pastels aren’t quite your style, you can always borrow colour inspiration from the Featherington family and go bold. Canary yellow, chartreuse and pomegranate pinks are starting to trend as accent colours this year and would look striking as part of a late summer or early autumn celebration.
florals
It wouldn’t be a Bridgerton wedding without including abundant over-the-top florals, think cascading arrangements and flowing centerpieces; all in those classic tones of ivory, blush and blue. The Orangery, our brand-new glasshouse, is the perfect canvas to dress with Bridgerton-Esque florals as the backdrop brings in the stunning landscape of the Commissioner’s Garden. Why not go one further and opt for an outdoor ceremony? Here your own arrangements can blend with the magnificent gardens for that perfect regency

venue
Whether you opt for an outdoor ceremony with abundant florals, or you’re looking for a more traditional indoor space to say, ‘I do’, The Commissioner’s House and Gardens is the perfect option for an elegant regency celebration. Built in 1703 as the lavish home of The Dockyard Commissioner, our venue is no stranger to a ball. Freshly restored for 2026, with interiors reminiscent of its 18th century heritage, The Commissioner’s House could be taken straight from a period Bridgerton set. The Commissioner’s Garden even played a role as the Bridgerton family’s garden throughout the series.
