The Historic Dockyard Chatham has served as an iconic backdrop for over forty years, gracing the screen in productions by giants like Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures, Sony Productions, and Netflix. Experience first-hand where some of TV and film’s favourite scenes were created, from high-sea adventures to dramatic historical re-enactments.

The new film locations tour allows visitors to venture into areas not open to the public and gain insider knowledge from our Dockyard crew who have worked with the productions.

Dive into the world of movies and TV series, where the secrets of the screen are revealed on an unforgettable journey through film history. From blockbuster hits to iconic period dramas, this tour is an all-access pass to the often hidden world of filmmaking. It is specially designed to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the real-life operations of a working film location.

The new 90-minute tour will provide film buffs, TV drama lovers or those just curious about how the magic happens, a rare chance to explore one of Britain’s most filmed locations like never before.
