Mission Christmas is underway here at The Historic Dockyard Chatham, with lots of families helping Father Christmas complete a special Christmas mission. Recently voted as one the “best festive days out in the UK” by The Guardian, let’s take a look at what all the excitement is about and why tickets are selling so fast…
Have you ever wondered why The Historic Dockyard Chatham closes every December? For over 400 years, Dockyard workers, past and present, have been keeping a heavily guarded secret. For the first time this Christmas, we’ve been granted special permission to reveal this classified information to a select few.
You’re invited to join us on a magical, interactive journey into Santa’s substation, hidden deep in the Dockyard and uncover the secrets of how every child is found each Christmas Eve.
What have those who have already helped Father Christmas on his mission thought of the experience so far?
“I just wanted to say thank you to all your lovely staff that helped at Mission Christmas today. We came at 2pm and my eldest daughter absolutely loved it. Please pass on our thanks to the team that was working today. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas.”
