BonnieStitch Product Launch
On Wednesday 8th November, we hosted an exclusive event to launch three new collections in our gift shop. Designed by local Artist – BonnieStitch (business) Esther Johnson (designer) from Rainham.
Esther has created three unique adaptations of The Dockyard area, these compliment the environment in which the gifts will be sold in and the landscape in which it was inspired from.
The designs are influenced by three main areas of the Dockyard:
- Collection 1: Passing By – an interpretation of walking through the attraction as a visitor and particular buildings and features that were unusual.
- Collection 2: By the Docks – Focusing on the iconic three ships that all took part in battle. Highlighting the scenes you can see from walking round the ships.
- Collection 3: The Long Walk – The last remaining Victorian rope factory still using the same skills and techniques practised as generations before.
We are delighted as a Trust that Esther chose our attraction to start this new line of work, which we believe will be one of many!
