Snow at The Dockyard

According to the Daily Telegraph, this is the worse snow we have seen for 30 years in the month of March!
Based in the town of Medway, here at The Dockyard, things came to a halt on Tuesday morning, with severe weather warnings coming our way. With many of the staff not being able to get in, we made the decision to close the site to visitors – to ensure the safety of all visitors to our site and to alleviate pressures on the local road networks.
But it’s times like this, you remember that we are not just a visitor attraction, we are a home to hundreds of residents here on site – this is where our maintenance team have really come together, woking very hard throughout the days, stepping up to the challenge of making our site as accessible as it can be for our residents.
Our catering team – of those that have been able to get to site, have provided hot drinks, hot food and even our famous fish and chips are making an appearance for our hard working teams.
In true British spirit, The Dockyard team have come together!
