Embark on an exciting Chatham Challenge with Stormy Stan this spring at The Historic Dockyard Chatham

STORMY STAN’S CHATHAM CHALLENGE

This spring The Historic Dockyard Chatham is hosting a brand-new event in conjunction with the 200th anniversary of the RNLI. Families are invited to join Stormy Stan and the Storm Force Crew from 29 March to 6 May 2024 for a fun-filled adventure that promises to test visitors’ puzzle solving skills.

The event follows the story of mischievous ‘Scatty the Seagull’ who was lured into a playful game of hide and seek by puffins ‘Petey’ and ‘Polly’, resulting in lifebuoys being scattered throughout the 80-acre site.

Children will be challenged to assist Stormy Stan and take on the role of a hero as they navigate through the Dockyard, overcoming obstacles, completing safety checks, and unraveling the twists and turns that await.

Alongside the trail, visitors will be able to meet Stormy Stan himself and pose for photos across Easter weekend and other selected dates (see website for details).

RNLI 200: THE EXHIBITION

Visitors will also be able to experience the exhilarating story of the RNLI as the lifesaving charity celebrates its 200th anniversary in the brand-new exhibition for 2024.

In partnership with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this must-visit exhibition showcases the heroic tales of the men and women who have risked their lives to save others, in times of calm and amidst the most treacherous storms.

Only available for a limited time from 23 March to 1 September 2024, this extraordinary showcase is a truly unmissable experience for visitors of all ages.

Both Stormy Stan’s Chatham Challenge and RNLI 200: The Exhibition are included in your Dockyard entry ticket. Visit thedockyard.co.uk for more information.
