Call the Midwife Tour Guide

If you’re a fan of Call the Midwife, then becoming a Call the Midwife Official Location Tour guide should be top of your list.

Button up your midwife costume and walk in the footsteps of Nurse Trixie Franklin, Sister Julienne and Dr Turner. Along the tour you’ll help visitors recognise the cobbled streets and buildings of ‘Poplar’ plus iconic locations such as the Grosvenor Hotel and ‘Chummy’s Hill’, where Nurse Noakes famously learnt to ride her bike. With a picture book to help trigger memories, you will show visitors how Neal Street Productions transform 400 year old Chatham dockyard into to East London.

Our Call the Midwife tour guides are key to ensuring that every visitor enjoys a safe and enjoyable experience. We aim to create a friendly environment with a positive attitude, a warm welcome and ongoing excellent customer care. The post involves working weekdays, weekends, evenings, Bank Holidays and occasional early mornings.

If you have exceptional customer service skills, relevant experience within a guided role, a passion for Call the Midwife and working with people, we would be delighted to hear from you.
