Security Officer – Zero Hours

We are currently seeking motivated person to join our Security Team on a zero hours contract.
As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of Historic Dockyard Chatham’s historic estate, collections and the safety and welfare of customers, tenants, residents and visitors.
You will be responsible for monitoring access points, monitoring CCTV, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
The role will provide as-required cover for the in-house Security Team and will be essential in providing resiliency by covering staff absence holiday, sickness and assisting with security cover for other activities based on our site.
Application Criteria
Essential elements:
- current Door Supervisor Level 2 SIA licence
- conflict management
- flexible availability
Desirable elements:
- CCTV operation and monitoring
- First Aid at Work qualification
- customer service skills
- previous experience within the security or equivalent industry
Selected applicants will be asked to complete a short written assessment. Those attaining the required standard and attributes will then be offered the opportunity to attend for an interview.
