“I like being a Visitor Experience Assistant because no two days are the same. I get to learn new facts and love working with people, but most of all who else can say they go to work every day and open up a warship or an amazing building like the ropery and educating people with your knowledge? It’s amazing!”

Nikki, Visitor Experience Assistant

I love meeting our visitors and ‘share’ the Dockyard with them. It is very rewarding to be able to share my knowledge with our visitors and help them have a great day out. My role allows me to learn about, and work in, so many diverse galleries and ships. I am constantly learning and meeting people from all walks of life. Being a Visitor Experience Assistant allows me to use skills I already have, plus take on exciting new challenges.”
