Steampunk, for those of you unfamiliar, is a subgenre of science-fiction, based on an alternative history of the Victoria era, in a post-apocalyptic future, where steam power still rules! – Great Kentspectations gives us all a little insight to this from the wonderful building of 3Slip.

From clothes, hats, accessories, trinkets, small furnishings, gin, you name it chances are you will find it with one of the Steampunk stall holders,. These include trends from many Gothic, mystical and quirky trading stalls who will be selling their wares over both floors of 3 Slip. There will also be artists, authors and inventors displaying some of their amazing work for you to enjoy plus a chance to meet the makers in person

Joins the Steampunk Stage for a selection of spectacular music, bizarre games suitable for all the family and a chance to learn more about the sub culture with the Meet the Steampunks talk. Plenty of seating so all can watch and listen to the weekends entertainment in comfort and maybe join in for a bit of a dance.

Vintage Tea Rooms

The fabulous Vintage Pop – Up Tearooms are back- a perfect place to rest your feet and absorb the Steampunk surroundings whilst enjoying the perfect cuppa and a slice of homemade cake. Steampunks live off Tea and Cake so you will find a lot of costumed characters here!

Meet the Steampunks!

If you are interested in starting your own Steampunk outfits it’s the perfect place to ask questions and find inspiration, Steampunks are friendly (if not a little mad) people so are always happy to have a chat and answer questions.
