Audio described tour: Highlights of the Dockyard

10.30am - 12.30pm

Discover 400 years of world class maritime history, through buildings, ships, architecture and people on a specially tailored event for blind and visually impaired audiences and their families, with trained facilitator, Wendy Daws.

As part of a pilot scheme for access tours at the Historic Dockyard and thanks to generous support from Arts Council England we are able to offer these tours for free.

In return for your free tour, we will be seeking feedback to help us shape a regular programme of access tours for 2022.

Access Information

Wendy will meet you at the Visitor Entrance for the start of your tour. The tour will start at 10.30am and will last approximately 2 hours. There will be a 30 minute break in the middle of the tour.

The restaurant is open from 10am and you are welcome to arrive early and purchase tea or coffee.

There is free parking on site and the galleries are fully accessible.
