Medway Rapture

6 Mar 2021 - 7 Mar 2021

Medway is set to host the most unique gaming festival the UK has ever seen, in March 2021.

Medway Rapture Gaming and Creative Festival is due to be held at  The Historic Dockyard Chatham on Saturday, 6 and Sunday, 7 March 2021. It is being supported by organisations across Medway, including substantial funding from Medway Council.

The weekend family-fun festival, which is being supported by a multitude of incredible show stakeholders, will have something for everyone – from gaming pros to novices. There will be plenty of gaming fun and interactive exhibitions for people of all ages to get involved in, including children, families and students.

Medway’s gaming festival has a real-life submarine taking centre stage for a murder mystery activity – more to be revealed! This forms just a snippet of one of the three core shows taking place at Medway Rapture Gaming and Creative Festival:

  • Medway Rapture – traditional gaming event with plenty for gamers and families to do at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
  • Medway Creative – an exciting creative arts, science, engineering, technology and videogames creation event with diverse and engaging content and activities at The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
  • Medway E-Sports – local university students and military teams will battle it out in virtual sporting events.

There will also be guest speaker talks and workshops for those wanting to learn more about the gaming and digital industry, as well as Medway’s four universities and MidKent College showcasing what they have to offer to our aspiring young people.

Tickets cost £15 for a single day ticket and £28 for a single weekend ticket, with group savings on offer.

The gaming festival ticket will give you access to all the shows at The Dockyard, as well as access to selected Dockyard museums open across the weekend.
