Royal British Legion Network for Carers

14 May (monthly)

We are pleased to be working with the Royal British Legion (RBL) on their new Network for Carers project. The project aims to support carers within the Armed Forces Community, helping them feel less lonely and isolated through peer-to-peer social groups. Network for Carers is funded by a grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust’s Tackling Loneliness programme.’

Network for Carers is a monthly face-to-face social group providing opportunities for the military community in Chatham to access support, build friendships, and share knowledge and experiences.

The network will provide carers in the Armed Forces community with:

  • Monthly face-to-face social group sessions, tailored to the interests of the members.
  • Sessions at The Historic Dockyard Chatham are on the second Saturday of each month, in the Mess Deck Restaurant
  • Sessions are from 10.30am- 12pm
